International Produce Training has temporarily suspended all onsite training operations. We invite you to utilize our comprehensive online training programs and Visual Aid Library to support your ongoing educational needs.

On Line Training Program

International Produce Training has developed online training lessons, now available to everyone. These 22 lessons cover the 40 most common inspected commodities, based upon USDA Grade Standards and USDA inspection procedures.  You can view these lessons in the comfort of your own home, no more travel headaches.  You can view one lesson for $29 each, or all 22 lessons for only $450 within a 3 month timeframe. (Corporate rates are available for unlimited users) These lessons are designed for produce inspectors with all levels of experience.  They are great for beginners, and an excellent refresher tool for the seasoned veteran. Sampling methods, inspection procedures, defect scoring guidelines, size and defect tolerances are all covered.  Each lesson requires the user to successfully pass an end of course assessment to record a completion.  And if you successfully complete all 22 lessons, you will be issued a Certificate of Training Completion.  Go to our training web site, and as a Guest User, you will be able to view “Learn About IPT’s Web-Based Courses.”  Learn more

Audit Service

International Produce Training offers personalized audit services to closely examine specific functions you deem important. With your quality specifications, IPT will design an audit checklist to monitor the accuracy and accountability of the quality assurance staff, at the packing houses, in the field, or at dockside or any place of shipment.
